Sainsbury's in-store promotions/advertising

Who is the very irritating, patronising woman who does these? I keep meaning to ask in the store, but can't wait to get out.

No, this is an actress or a presenter, I think, kind of semi-familiar. Her accent is vaguely North of England/ Newcastle - I'm not very good at identifying these.

Sorry - I should have made it clearer. This is in a local Sainsburys in NI - she comes on promoting 'bargains'.
I don't watch much telly, but I' m sure I have heard her voice before.

lol well i suppose it's rather difficult for us to know who does the promotions in your local sainsburys. It would be like me asking you who does them in my local tesco in berkshire

Sounds like this ad is being shown on tv in N.I. so very difficult for us in England to help.

It is a recording, played repeatedly, promoting in-store products. I am going to ring and ask - will let you know if I find out.
She's so irritating.

Whenever we hear in-store announcements I call out loudly to my wife, "We're being shouted at again, dear."

I nipped into Sainsbury's today and heard a pre-recorded tannoy announcement extolling the virtues of Sainsbury's- it sounded like Jane Horrocks

This was bugging me so I took the advice of someone in the local store and mailed Sainsburys Head Office (OK, this was a bit OTT).
In the meantime, factor 30 identified the voice.
Sainsburys cannot disclose the name for reasons of confidentiality. The mind boggles.
