I do order gifts for all sorts of things in advance
For example, I do my Xmas shopping in September, then I can enjoy the run up and shop knowing I'm not going to run round like a headless chook on Xmas eve
So I don't wish I do
@boxtops Thanks for the welcome! Reading back over my post, I realize you're right: it does sound like an ad. Sorry for the poor wording! No ads from me :) Haha nice catch -- I am a US native! Is AB primarily used in by UK citizens?
@albaqwerty I hadn't heard of those before -- thanks for the lead. I just looked Christmas Clubs up. Very strange concept.
@Tilly That's why I want this -- I lose everything I order ahead. I want someone else to keep track of it for me and give it to my friend on their birthday (because I really do have the WORST memory).
Keep a wish list on amazon. You can now add items from other websites on your amazon wishlist. Once you know what you want to get someone add it to your wishlist and then just order it closer to the time.
Hi bio - yes, this is a UK-based site but we do have quite a few members from the States/Canada and all other parts of the world. We hope you'll enjoy it!
By the way if you go to Chatterbank topic, that's where we all chat - good fun if you can stand the pace!
Amazon do a special occasions reminder, not the same thing I know but I doubt any supplier would take orders that far in advance incase they didn't have the stock.
