Asda Shopping Discount of £5

I knew that to obtain this discount it was necessary to place an order for £40, but I did not get my discount today because my order was for 7 items instead of the minimum 8!!!
When I complained their representative said that it was in their terms and conditions but i think that they should have made it clear in their advertisement.
Life is too short to read the small print every time an order is placed with a supplier.

It does appear in the TV ads, however small print is always going to be just that - small.

I thought it was £5 off your NEXT £40 shop. That is what the advert says. So you have to keep your till receipt and spend another £40 to get £5 off. So that is £80 you have to spend to get £5 off.
