Costco might do them. They have a lot of American stuff.
we have the A1 size at school. The flat kind to keep the kids' artwork in. Is that what you mean?
like these?
I know these are only A3 but we have them bigger.
unfortunately it's our half term so I can't find out where we get them from at the moment.

thanks but no, they are like folders arent they? the ones i want are like those simple sealable freezer bags...but larger...
I know the type you mean. The brand is Ziploc and they sell them in American supermarkets. They`re freezer bags and they come on a roll. I had a drawer full of the smaller ones.
I’m not sure of your proposed use, but Wilkinson and my local £ shop sell space-saving vacuum bags that have a similar zip closing arrangement - of the size you require.

Being vacuum space-saving, they have provision for a hose attachment to allow a vacuum cleaner to suck out the air.
Providing this attachment arrangement does not impact your proposed use, these may be a suitable alternative.
There are Ziploc bags for sale in the UK on ebay.
