Inappropriate presents !

Has anyone ever given someone a present and then realised that they shouldn't have ??
My friend said her son would like a game that he could play in the car on long journeys.
I bought Hangman............................... then after I had delivered it I suddenly realised with utter horror that I should have bought him any other game EXCEPT hangman.........his dad had committed suicide by hanging himself. Woops !

Yeah weeal, that's what i thought too except I had another word in front of **** !!!!
I didn't see her again for a few months and it was never mentioned !!

Yes, my word was beeped out but it could be one of two 4 letter words lol. One starting with s and ending with t or starting with f and ending with k !! Mine was the latter !

dont know if this qualifies but years ago my ex partner bought me a Flan Dish -as in quiche lorraine,cheese and bacon flan etc!!

Hence im now happily married to someone else lol.
