Lilac dress

What colour jacket would be best with a lilac dress for a summer wedding? Something like cream?

If you want a contrasting colour then cream is the way to go, if you want a harmonising colour then go for blue.

Cream will be softer against the lilac and it will be easier to accessorise. Blue will be striking though.

I'd go for cream :)

It could be, it depends on if you go for a cardi and what style you go for.

How about considering a cream voile scraf like thing, wrap that around your neck a couple of times with the ends trailing down your back (do you get what I'm trying to describe?)

If you can't find one, I have the perfect one at home for you I don't mind posting down to you for a loan.

Have you thought of a cream lacy blouse type jacket. These are all in the shops at the moment and wouldn't look too mumsy. HOpe the weather keeps fine for you!

Aw that's really nice of you Lakitu, thanks! I'm going to have a raid of my friend's wardrobe first I think!

My mum suggested a paschmina too, might look into that option as well!

Haven't bought shoes yet, I have purpley coloured shoes, was going to see if they matched and if not, I was thinking of silver, but cream might be a good idea if I could match my top half!

Silver and Lilac sounds really nice as does cream or white really.
