OH has no idea of colour co-ordination.
Today he has worn a pinky purple sweater and an orange and white rugby shirt.
I have tried and tried to educate him on what colours go together but I realise I am fighting a losing battle!

I think he sounds great caran. I believe we should get to an age where we can wear what we like.
He sets the trends, he doesn't follow them - good for him.
If it's good enough for Gucci and Diane von Furstenberg, it should be good enough for you (and your hubby)!

It just grates on me. I have tried for the last 30 something years we have been together. It just falls on deaf ears. Well he is very very deaf so maybe that is the reason!!
Does he support Manchester City?

Clashing colours can look really classy, better than over coordination in fact.

No thank god with that colour scheme. He actually supports villa.

I don't for one moment you think that is fantastic Chris.

. . . as in my link at 0029, I suggest. I really do find that outfit totally stunning!
She does look good Chris, for me I'd do without the logo on the top but she's young enough to carry it off.
Do you know, Caran....some evenings you're a breath of fresh air on AB!.......xxx
you sure he's not colour blind. Or see Michael Portillo who wears what i consider to be clashing colours, often seen with pink trousers, green shirt, blue jacket, or other combos of colours. Perhaps one gets to a certain age where it shouldn't matter. Personally i love to coordinate colours. Even to a n
nth degree, i was told i was the most coordinated person they had every seen, got it from my mum, this love of trying to get matching colour schemes
It's a brilliant poem indeed and illustrates individuality to the highest degree.
there is another one that i can't recall about wearing purple? female poet i think, dust off my memory banks and see if i can find it.
Emmie. For my 60th friends bought me that book/poem and took me out for a day doing many of the things in it beginning with running a walking stick along the railings outside a shop at the top of the road.

When my granddaughter visited and read the poem I told her that's how I was going to grow old. She was quiet for the rest of the visit.
As she left she gave me a hug and said.....please don't do everything in the poem Grandma...spitting and everything...I love you as you are now.
yes i see that a lot of people growing older want to break free from constraints of a lifetime - spitting isn't very ladylike i know. wish i could recall other poem, its going to bug me now..

He really has got terrible taste. Claret and blue is a dreadful kit.
