If your birthday is on Halloween, like mine is, you always look forward to it & are never ever too old to enjoy it!

I've read letters from time to time in the newspapers from American readers and apparently the rules are these:
1. Trick-or-treating is STRICTLY for younger kids (10 is about top age).
2. They MUST be in costume.
3. They only visit people they know.
4. They are supervised by a responsible adult or adults.
5. People happy to be visited signal this by putting a carved pumpkin in the window.
For older kids (10 up to about 100), hallowe'en themed parties are great fun.
