My local shop started to put them out on Christmas Eve.
The local Tesco cleared the 'Christmas ' isle on Christmas eve and started putting out Hot Cross Buns.

they ave had cream eggs in the cash n carrys since early dec..........ive seen a raffle egg too.......huge thing...£50 !!

i worked for woolies for 40 years - we always had a display of easter eggs on sale before leaving on xmas eve!!

Perhaps we ought to forgive the shops this year, considering that Easter is exceptionally early in 2008.

What will be interesting is how soon after Christmas 2010 the eggs appear, given that Easter 2011 is at the other end of its range (on 24 April).
