Hi Andrew - well, I was going Christmas shopping again today, but it's so wet, cold & miserable, I've decided to stay in the warm & go on Monday!
My husband's going to get the tree & dec's out of the loft shortly & I'll be putting them up later.
I also light several candles each night in autumn & winter, which always gives a cosy Christmassy feeling.
Have fun!

Getting back to the real spirit of Christmas and going to a Christmas carol concert, with lots of hearily sung Christmas carols, preferably by candlelight.
And Christmas doesn't really feel it's started until you hear the traditional service of Nine Lessons & Carols broadcast on Christmas Eve.
Somehow all the shops blaring out Christmas music just turns me off, especially since some of them have been doing it since the beginning of October ! No wonder shoppers are fed up with all the commercialism and seem to be on a spending strike !
