Friday. The weekend is nigh. Now we can get back to whatever passes for normal. damp, but mild here this morning. I don't think it's going to improve either! Such is life.

I might finally get round to making those crumpets I've been going to do for the past week. No shoplifting today so I should have the time. Every time I say that something comes up!

I'm in the Heritage Centre tomorrow. Must phone my mate and make sure he's ready. He is still carless until the quack passes him fit to drive.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning all damp here as well
The forecast is here is for sunshine (but rather breezy). However, unless I get to bed soon I doubt that I'll see much of the sun. (I can't actually remember seeing any daylight for several days - I've become totally nocturnal!)

Morning Tony and Chris. I remember that Chris. Quite a few years ago now during the winter I went to work in the dark, worked in a building with no windows and went home in the dark. I didn't see daylight until the weekend.
Chris my body clock is actually tuned that way as is probably yours
Hi Tony

My body clock seems to be set to a 25 hour day. I go to bed an hour later every night/morning until such time as I have some sort of commitment that forces me to try to get back to 'normal'.
Question Author
Define 'normal'?
Define 'normal'?

Probably "the opposite of me"!

;-)
Question Author
I don't think it can be defined in this context as everyone is different. Don't you think?
Question Author
I know what you mean though Chris! :o}
I'm no doctor but I guess our "inset" clock is dawn and dusk as with many other animals
Question Author
You're right Tony. Before artificial light that's the way it had to be. Not too safe being out and about at night in those far off days.
G'day all,,,from one "abnormal" Ozzie.
I'd hate to be classed as normal, how boring ;-)
Question Author
Afternoon oz. that's today's philosophical question, how do you define 'normal' in this context?
Hey Boaty, nothing quite like a nice bit of crumpet,,, get into the kitchen.
Hope tomorrow pans out well for you.
Morning all. It's finally stopped raining here and the wind has dropped. Didn't do much of anything yesterday so much get myself going today. At least I don't have to go back to work today!
I don't think there is a definition for that awful word Boaty.
If there is I've never learnt it.
And never intend to :-)
*must
G'day Lardy,, just chill and make the most of "down time".
No need to do anything you don't want to coz it'll still be waiting
Question Author
Morning lardy. xxx A day off! No doubt to be filled with domesticity?

Thanks oz. I shall start the process before I go and get the paper. It has to stand in a warm place for an hour. The airing cupboard is the usual place.

I agree oz. Normal is different for everyone.
I have to defrost my freezer 1ozzy. I've been putting it off all week!
