Christmas Tree

Hi All
Im having a debate with my boyfriend on how to decorate our tree.
We have white LED lights and I want to decorate it with Gold and purple baubles. My boyfriend wants gold only.
opinions please?
Also tinsel or no tinsel?

Could you not get a second, smaller, cheaper tree for another room? That way you could each decorate a tree as you wish. Toss a coin to see who gets to decorate the main one. You could even ask someone neutral to judge whose is best and then the other has to buy them a bottle/take them out etc etc.

I always think tinsel is to cover the wires of the lights so have some tinsel, i only have one colour on my tree so i cant really comment on that bit lol

my tree is red with little white lights.

I don't feel I have a right to comment on anyone else's taste!

I prefer to cover the tree to within an inch of its life in coloured baubels,tinsel and anything else I can find, luckily we can still see the lights :D

my topper is a tripple bauble kinda Taj Mahal thingy

green tree with white lights and silver 'things' on it (including mini disco glitter balls ) lol
