Would driving on the motorway with an England flag on the car affect fuel consumption dramatically?
Just noticed lots of cars with them this morning (many with 2 or more) and with the price of fuel could not help wondering.

I would imagine the effect would be so minimal as to be disregarded.
I think I'd be more worried about it flying off and hitting another vehicle on the motorway.
3-6 mpg per flag I've heard - which sounds about right to me

heathfield - I got that one as a text message just before st georges day, guess its been revived for the cup!
Felt it my duty to spread the word to those that hadn't heard it first time round! ;-)
This flag would cost you every penny and eventually weigh you down to you stop defeated, emotionally drained and tired from life.
