as i said on there, ive seen a dog running alongside my car and a man dressed in rather unusual outfit, his hands and face were very white.

Yes. When I was little I told my mum about a man I'd seen in my bedroom. I described his big black boots, his hat and the fact his left arm was missing.
I'd described my great grandad (who died in the 1930's) to a tee.

Yes was in car with my mate going under an old railway bridge when I saw a figure in road, my friend slammed on breaks. When I asked her if she saw what I had she said yep and when we got back to mine we both drew what we had seen, Pictures were exactly the same, the back or shadow of a very tall man with long coat and tall hat on.

reading your story makes me feel guilty about my taking the mick out of a friend who watched two cartoon lobsters doing a dance with hats and canes on his alarm clock.

oooh what a strange post.

reminds me of when we had a guy working night shift alone in our factory.
He was running machines and didnt have access to the offices.
anyway one morning as he was leaving he asked whether the factory next door worked nights, i said no.
a few days later he asked again, he was sure he'd heard them, again i said no.
the next day he asked what they did, i told him theye were mainly office based, he asked if there was a company that made musical organs nearby. as we were in an industrial estate of just 2 units miles from anywhere i said no.
he was looking very worried, he said he ad heard noises all night every night, he could hear doors opening and closing and organ music playing.
I just laughed it off, didnt know what he was waffling about.

it wasnt until after he stopped working for us that i realised the screensaver on one of the PCs in office was the old windows haunted house one, complete with bats screaching, doors slamming and a eerie organ playing.

yes I have too, but when I have put my stories on here, I have been ridiculed by some people. that kind of thing puts u off a bit. I will tell you if you really want to know.

one incident I can remember is as a little girl, coming home from school and seeing someone looking out of our front room window waving to me.. running to the front door I expected it to be open which it wasnt. I complained to my mum who said she hadnt been looking out the window, and she had been alone in the house. My grandad has not long passed at that time and he always used to look for me out of the window.

I beleieve it was the spirit of my grandad who is still around in the house because another thing that used to happen is that you would wake up in the morning and smell toast cooking, when the kitchen was empty and the toaster not in use.. this was another thing my grandad, who used to live with us one time did.

I have seen my old cat loads of times, sometime stumbling because he appeared at my feet and I thought I was going to fall over him.

someone i know ( a very close friend of my best mate) lost her fiance in a tragic car accident.
a while later she went to see a medium.
the medium said pretty general things that could be attributed to many people so this friend didnt really think much of it. The medium knew that she was hoping for some comfort following her loved ones death in an accident
The medium then said that the fiance had broken his arm in the accident. This was not true, but she insisted that the guy she could see was sporting a broken arm.

it wasnt until the medium showed the woman exactly what she could see that the woman broke down.

The guy was holding his "broken" arm up to show her the medium said, copying the motion exactly. This was actually how the guy used to wave, he'd hold his arm with his opposite hand.

He was waving.

Late 70's I saw the ghost of a young fisherman in a yellow fisherman's jersey stood on the riverbank outside my boyfriend's parents' house. It was a very fleeting glimpse - I never had time to be scared - but it was a definite figure.

the scariest ghostly experience I've ever had was on my honeymoon in Guernsey with my then (1st) husband. We slept in the attic room of a b&b &, although I never saw any figure or spectre, I definitely felt a presence. After 2 nights of staying awake petrified, but without being able to say why, I mentioned my feeling to the B&B landlady (my husban'd aunt) - she said that in the 2nd world war some soldiers had hidden in that attic from the Gestapo.
