It is light, inert and uninflammable - well at most temperatures where you'd use it in an airship.
What was the helium property you had in mind?
Just to be SC (Scientifically Correct). It is less dense than air and non-flammable :-)
Boo - hiss, I was about to ask joshua to decide whether he thought helium was flammable or inflammable (when mixed with air / oxygen of couse).
On long flights to relieve boredom you can go and sit in the balloon and do silly voices??
