Oh....what a disappointment ! I thought this was going to one of those trick questions, like we had recently, and the answer was going to be something outlandish, because I had missed out some invisible brackets !

There was no trick question recently, it just needed a knowledge of Mathematics!

Jean out of interest did you not know this because you didn't know what 9 times 9 is or because you didn't know what squared means?

When it says squared it just means times it by itself so that means 9x9=81..

I'd guess that Jean just forgot what squared is. Anyone with a computer has a calculator if the can't be bothered to do it in their head.
