You could try writing to the President, Prime Minister, and UP(?) ministers of the Indian Government. You would probably get a quicker reply.

As of 31st August 2012, the Indian Prime Minister's monthly pay and other allowances amount to Rs. 1,60,000 or US$2,864. The breakup is given below:

Pay : Rs. 50,000/-
Sumptuary Allowance : Rs. 3,000/-
Daily Allowance : Rs. 62,000 @ Rs. 2,000/- per day
Constituency Allowance : Rs. 45,000/-
Gross : Rs. 1,60,000/-
