Lines of Longitude.
Question Author
imaginary lines around the earth that pass through the north and south poles
Lines of Longitude t'other ones ie equator and the other lines are lines of latitude
plus latitudes tropics of cancer and capricorn
In fact they are planes which extend from the earth's axis into space.
Is there a question that requires an answer ? I seem to have missed it.

As others have mentioned, these great circles are referred to as lines of longitude.
