Everyone has a double?

Is it true that everyone in this world has a double somewhere or sometime?

Not sure if its generally true but i was grabbed and hugged in Tesco by a seemingly sane woman who claimed that she had known me, and my mother, as a child in Canada. She was very confused and embarrassed when i gently pointed out that I had never lived in Canada.......

It is likely that with so many people in the world there is someone else that looks like you but it is not true that everyone has a double per se.

I have... when I lived in essex I was often stopped in the Barking area by people who were convinced they knew me... some of whom were quite insistant that I was pretending not to recognise them... Apparently the woman concerned even wore similar spectacles..... I think her name was Linda.... I'd have loved to meet her just to check for myself.....

many years ago i went to visit my best friend (leaving my husband at home). Both my friend and I were amazed to see my husband when we were out one eve, it wasnt him, but the other guy even had the same mannerisms.

doing a quick food shop in town the other day i saw a young lad that looks just like my son, even my daughter stopped and stared at him in confusion lol

I've been told twice that I look like George Clooney! Can't see it myself but was quite happy with the comment.

I had a lady at the grocery store walk up and hug me. I'd never seen her before in my life. I said she must have me mistaken with somebody else and she called me by a different name and told me I was such a joker and that she'd see me again soon. I never met him but somebody else told me I had a doppelganger there.

I think a alot of the time people seem to think someone looks like someone when in fact they look nothing like them. Regularly when watching TV, R1Bird says that "He's that bloke out of...." and after 20 questions and research I finally find out who she means and they look completely different!

I have been told I have one in Germany.

I have seen another who was indistinguishable from a different person that I knew.

We now have face scanning technology. There are not too many variables between different profiles eg distance between the eyes, nose and lips etc. You could probably get a mathematical answer by seeing how many variables there are and the range.

Think so!.........I have one in Staffordshire, lots of folk said that they saw me there, and that I didn't recognise them!..............I wasn't there!.................

I worry that my double was my mum, I am sure I see her sometimes when I look in the mirror....
