For all the emails and texts of support I got during my absence.
I would especially like to thank the person or persons that wrote to my employer, pointing them in the direction of this office.
Hope you have had fun at my expense. regards Islay
I've no idea what's gone on but if someone has contacted your work, that's deplorable- I did have someone from here I'm not friends with in the real world ( i'm friends with some lovely folks from here irl) message me via Facebook saying ' I've worked out who you are'- whoopyfekcingdoo- but contacting your employed is appalling :(
Thanks all, ygritte there are a few here who know who i am, some I would trust with my life and they know who they are, some I would not!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank them for the time they spent on me - it was much appreciated!
Islay has answered questions regarding the line of work she is in and is friends with Abers on FB...some of these ABers are not very nice in real life.
I would just like to know what this person/people hoped to achieve. Do they want to see someone get sacked? Which could potentially ruin someones life.
elliemay, some years back, there was an ab'er who fell foul of a nasty, vindictive individual who sussed out where she worked and contacted her employers.
Utter jealousy imo.
Now, if you're at work but on yer mobile, and not using the work's pc to be on AB then that's ok (as it should be)
It was Sallabananas who was targetted last time and as far as I'm aware, she had never clashed with anyone on AB.
If my memory serves me correctly, Barmaid mentioned something back then about the Malicious Communications Act of 1988 and contacting someone's employer to make a malicious complaint is actually illegal from what she said. It's a pretty mean thing to do.
