There have been rather a lot of silly threads from an old user using lots of different names recently (usually weekends) and that does tend to make us wary of any new user who posts anything a little unusual. I'm not sure what the answer is- maybe ignore the threads from the well known 'troll' since many people recognise him soon enough and that way he may stop being suspended/banned and trying again under new names

I find it very funny and welcoming though every friend or family member seems to find it childish and boring due to the repetitive "What is your favourite pie" and "what are you eating or drinking" or hypothetical "If you were a superhero, which power would you like" type questions they see whenever i show them a particular thread i'm reading and because of this they now think that the site is dominated by low iq'd overweight teens, and not middle aged professional with quite high iq's, lol

I hid out in technology for ages before venturing into CB, and then spent some time seemingly stopping every thread I posted on in it's tracks :)
