You mean the talking horse...?
I guess this is a subtle reference to all the blank questions posted today, mainly on Q&P?

Lol there was no box for me to type into lol. Not my question.

Question: I think there may be some use for a report a problem/poster service. I see there are report a post bits but sometimes it is just one single post but the poster and there general behaviour. The way things have been panning out lately I believe there maybe a use for something like this.

Thanks for your time
can you explain that again please?
Yep, you mean this problem:

The AB Ed is looking into it and has asked for information on this problem to see if it can be narrowed down to certain browsers. Can you email the ed or post a reply on my thread (http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Editors-Bl
og/Question901850.html)
which the AB ed will see

Markrae I wish I did. No for some reason I had no box to type into? My question had to be given as an answer =)
i get that on phone sometimes. You just have to keep clicking on post question till it opens
Hi Greedyfly,

If this is to do with the details box not opening - then Factor30 has the best answer already!

In terms of reporting - I don't fully understand what you mean? Each question and answer has its own "Report This" button? We ask you to fill in the contact box on the report page to give us a fuller understanding of what the issue is - maybe you coulf use this to identify overall problems?

Or would you like a report button on the Public Profile pages? For example, if you wanted to report MarkRae for his sarcastic nature you would be able to here: http://www.theanswerb...o.uk/members/markrae/ Is this what you mean?

Hello Spare ed, yes that is probably what I mean. I see the report this buttons on every answer. But I was wondering if there was a repeat offender (ie someone being nasty or rude continually) how would you see the repeat offences if you only 'report this'

Thanks, your answer I think clears up what I wanted to know.
Question Author
Your suggestion of report buttons on peoples profiles I think is the method I was looking for, that way if someone is being offensive over and over the problem can be reported directly and you would know the posted were a repeat problem. Thanks for you time =)
I think you may be talking to just a garden gnome because the real editor has a big book in which he can record any offensive correspondents ( such as me maybe) and a big mallet with which to hit them over the head.

Ron
Please can you repeat the question ???
Question Author
Sorry Trish?
Hi Greedyfly.....Pity that you have declined to repeat your question; as was requested by Trish. Perhaps it is because the actual context has now gone from memory.

However, I feel sure that Trish would like an indication of what your question was about. I certainly would.

Vivandron and Trish =

If you look at the post the question is in the third entry down = as there was an issue with the question entry box. Apparently a few people have been having issues with question entry as FACTOR30 explains, in the fifth entry down.

Hope this puts both your minds at rest?!
Thanks Greedyfly.........Ron
