Milk is the natural antidote for chilli. How you`re supposed to get that on your nose though would take a bit of imagination

I'll try it i don't care hahaha...
AHHHHHH it burns!!!!
If you've got some plain yoghurt in the fridge, smear a bit of that on it. Or, you'll just have to bear with the pain until it goes. Poor you. Am wincing in sympathy!

It worked!!!
Thank you so much 237sj.....trying to explain a milky cotton bud up my nose to my mam was quite funny
Look on the bright side suezy it was only your nose. I once had a bf to stay for the weekend and he thought he was a super chef. He cooked something with fresh chillies and later went to the loo................. I couldn't help I was laughing too much.
Good one! That`s why curry houses give you lassie after your meal!
You mean the dog called lassie or a lassi?
I'm always getting toothpaste in my eye
How do you manage that 4get?
Toothpaste in your eye!? That is an interesting one!

I get Original source shower gel in my eye, and that really stings as it is mint & tea tree. Although it does make you go a bit tingly!
I brush my teeth at night and then go to take contact lenses out, sometimes I have a bit of fingers that gets in eye. cooling sensation
Ohhh I see....
Toothpaste is also good in 'certain places'
Stainless steel is supposed to remove garlic and chilli traces. If you dont mind looking odd, rub your nose round the kitchen sink!!!

Honestly!
don't get concentrated original source mint and teatree shower gel on your girly bits.... not unless you intend to use the hypersensitivity for recreational purposes

Think i'll stay away from chilli in future..My hand has two curious red, make that 3 curious blotchy red marks...my fingers are all on fire and my lips are too as is my tongue..have never drank so much water and milk in 2 hour period before...
Next time, wear a pair of those thin latex rubber gloves then all you have to do when you've chopped the chillies is just take them off and chuck 'em straight in the bin. I also read that, if you smear your hands with olive oil before cutting/chopping chillies, that should stop all the stuff getting on your hands - or at least make it not quite so bad. Although all this advice is a bit late now, I suppose ....
waters no good suze. Milk is the best, something to do with lactic acid?
Question Author
Not at all Chokkie, It'll be useful for next time, although I think my body needs a break from chillies for a little while haha
