Thanks Littlegem,i wanted to send in a request for my sister's Ruby Wedding Anniversary to the Radio but i don't think that song would be appropiate!
No, I don't think that song would be the least bit appropriate.
Joe Cocker - With a Little Help From My Friends was the week before; Mary Hopkin - Those Were The Days the week before that.

Other No 1s of that year include Cliff 'Congratulations' and Love Affair with 'Everlasting Love', either of which are more appropriate.
It's forty years this weekend since the release of The Beatles' White Album. Are there any tracks on that you could ask for?
