Band names

Does anyone know a link to a site which tells how and why ands got their names?(especially rock bands) Me and hubby discussing it the other day,would be interesting to find out,theres some strange band names just wondered how they came about

don't now about websites but the most original idea for band names in my opinion was chosen by two bands:

10cc and

The Loving Spoonful.

P.S Duran duran was a character in Barbarella (Sci-fi film starring Jane Fonda) and it's reall weird to hear characters saying "Duran Duran is...." rather than "DD are..."
