I am looking to help raise money for Willows Animal Sanctuary and thought one way might be to have a quiz at say £1 a pop.  Have never done anything like this before and would appreciate some help eg chosing a subject, researching possible questions/anwers etc.  Some great quizzes on here so looking to pick your brains.  Thank you.

Something to do with animals/birds/ etc. as quiz is for Animal Sanctuarc.y?  A mixture of anagrams, fact, etc.

Places quiz - the area where you live- maybe in alphabetical order?   Anything geographical makes a good quiz whichever part of the World.

Film & TV - programmes, actors, etc. or a Musical Quiz- singers/songs.

A quiz I enjoy doing has a part in it where clues are to places on a route often through Scotland, England, Wales -some clues contain anagrams, or name within the clue itself, general knowledge, fact, etc. eg. starting point could be Wick and finishing in Brighton.

Thank you so much Moorea7, you've given me some great ideas.  Time for the hard work to begin!

^^ Good luck. Don't forget to list the quiz on Answerbank!

Good source of quizzes - might give you inspiration.

I used to live not far from where they are - but they didn't exist at that time.

I'd buy one from you.

Remember to consider taking payment by Paypal as well.

Some good pointers here. Tuvok has suggested looking at Ken's site where you might find some useful information but please don't just copy other peoples questions. I supported a quiz a couple of years ago and found that the quiz setter had completely copied questions from an earlier quiz by a different setter.

I find getting money up front is a good idea then you don't get time wasters who just want a quiz to do but with no intention of sending in afterwards with payment.  PayPal is a good idea but for those who prefer not to use a bank card, I have started asking for payment along with an email address and then email the quiz to them. It saves on high postal charges.  Good luck.
