The sky is clear, I hope it stays that way, I'm dong hospice type things at the Winstones Ice Cream factory on Rodborough Common this afternoon, trying to sign people up to the hospice lottery. It should be fun.

Morning Chris. That's the one. The best ice cream ever! We sell it at the Visitor Centre on the canal. When the Summer walk is on at the hospice, (I'm the first, and last,marshal) the route takes the walkers past the shop and factory, they all stop for one!

I'm fine, thank you. I worked late into the night finishing off a crossword. (Compiling it, not solving it! It's in Chatterbank). I'd now like to get some sleep but this beautiful bundle of ginger & white fur on my knee doesn't want to move just yet!

It would be a lot easier if I didn't bother about the convention that says that the grid has to possess rotational symmetry. I'll find a really good word which fits nicely into the top left-hand corner but then find that there's nothing which will fit into the same spaces in the bottom right-hand corner. (Cats jumping on my keyboard don't help either!).

Cats are good that Chris. When I go to my wee sis in Cornwall, one of hers does that, curls up on my lap and tries to catch my fingers as I type, then tries typing herself!

There are not many pubs on the common, only one on the route.

Currently catching up on TV programs whilst the dogs and 1 of the cats sleep next to me on the sofa, the rest of the cats are upstairs. Off to look at a new kennel today as not happy with the one we used in july!
