We'll see what the takes on today, mater permitting, the back-staircase cupboard awaits and she says that she'll take it on....brave woman - all the old powders, polishes, paints etc and a lot of throw-out - bet five or six black bags of garbage come out. She cleared 'Wool Mountain' yesterday, between a Welsh dresser and the wall a 3 ft by 2ft by 3ft mountain and I took on the upper dresser to get it stripped and cleaned and then all the plates, photos, brass and silver put back - they had been cleaned by me over the weekend.

well there is still four major disaster zones (three bedrooms and a study) but half the house is back in full operation...study comes next as it's the easiest win of the four but no small undertaking - I reckon four days for this one, the worst is my mater's main bedroom (and one of the other bed rooms) and that will take a month - and we need my eldest sis here to help sort out the clothing and shoes - she's not back until the end of Feb. However, Rome was not built in a day, was it?

Yep, lost 8 pounds so far this month.

Yes Boaty...not so bad. I seem to have got over the worst of that cough, although its still there. That will be 3 months since the flu-chest infection.

I will be making an appointment to see the Doc later this week to get that heart murmur investigated a little further.....not looking forward to that !

Never a pleasent procedure, but it has to be done mikey.

I've got to book a chest x-ray, but that is just a minor inconvenience.
