.. home early on a Friday, no commitments until Monday morning, it's going to be a lazy weekend if I get my way, apart from a bit of shopping.

thanks tashi - he'll be fine in a day or two -tis hard to live with the 'What d'ya call this then?' look when he gets a couple a tablespoons of white rice with boiled chick flakes 5/6 times a day instead of his usual scoff.

I'm going over the Forth to Fife to my OH's for the weekend. Going to Pitlochry for the Enchanted Forest.

doggie poo - both dog and I are TOO upset when this happens.
I get nuzzled with a mournful look of " I know I shouldnt do this but I couldnt help it" as I clear it up. open th windows in the cold morning weather to get the smell out

Out tonight to met our friends Daughter & family from Aberdeen, the meeting place is called Sycamore Farm, a really good eating pub.

Just had to do a bit of clearing up myself, went to get the dog a bowl of biscuits and dropped the bag, they went everywhere, he was delighted, helped my clear up, better than a hoover anyday.

I usually have a Lemonade or 6 on a Fri Tashi, but tonight will be good to meet up with our friend & his daughter which I've know since she was 10, she now has 2 children & in her 40s.

PeterP -At least you sympathise with the dog - I've heard of so many cases when the poor thing hasn't met with any understanding at all. My woofs is mortified if he can't make it to the door in time - fortunately I live on a farm so can have doors open all day.

I still like Fridays even though I'm retired. I don't have that Friday night buzz anymore but it still feels like a good day to me. The best part is that Mr T is out for most of the day and I can get on with things without him getting under my feet.

He'll be home soon and my peace will be shattered.

Hello Tilly, yes it can be good to have a few hours to yourself sometimes usually Saturday afternoon for me.

Nice to get home early, Tashi..and re-charge for the weekend.....Fresh as you can get Cod and Chips supper tonight, before going to Brighton Hotel for 70's and 80's revival function tonight......Wedding do tomorrow afternoon/evening in Dorking ,Surrey....Car boot sale on Sunday morning in Sussex helping good friend and his wife out.....Family outing seeing Jack Reacher 2 late afternoon and probably meal afterwards.....could just Nip into McD's as haven't had one for a while. :-)

A not so relaxing weekend, but I don't enjoy just sitting around if I can be doing something.....but sometimes you just need it, so hope you have a relaxing and funky weekend, Tashi x
