We Are Legally A Grandma!

Just to let those of you who were interested in our daughter and son-in-law adopting a little boy - we've got him at last! We all went to court this week for his formal name change and celebration of his adoption. It was a lovely day. We went to court and then for a meal. Mr M and I have waited for a grandchild for 20+ years and now we've got him - he's well worth waiting for!

First of all I'd like to thank you all for your very kind messages, we are a Nanna and Grandad or as little man calls Mr M, RaRa. He really is a dream come true, very hard work but worth every moment.
Anneasquith - we to feel like shouting it from the roof tops. The magistrate in court even remarked on how like his new daddy he is.
Fingers crossed for our son - he is in rehab. I'm praying it will work.
Dee Sa - He doesn't have a new Christian name, they're not allowed to change it by law nowadays, he does however have the middle name of David, named after my nephew who's birthday he shares, who was also adopted and was killed a few years ago at the age of 23.
SlackAlice - Oh yes plenty of Easter eggs and gifts!
