Its like trying to sleep in a tumble drier ! Even a light shower of rain, falling on the caravan roof sounds like there are elephants up there, enjoying a Disco.
And it was so nice yesterday ( Wed ) ....blue skies, quite warm and no wind....I had shorts on until 18:00 !

bunkmoreland....I know exactly what you mean !
I spent the whole of December last year in my 'van and we had a humdinger of a souwesterly one night, just before Xmas. It was only my vast bulk, spread out on the bed, clutching hold of my Willy, that lowered the centre of gravity enough to stop the 'van doing a Mary Poppins over the hedge !
( by the way, Willy is my Yorkshire Wolfhound ! )

Hi Bunkmoreland, hope you are well. I recall my family being woken up at about 2 am by a caravan park proprietor on the north coast of Queensland when I was about 14. It was stormy and we were informed a cyclone was due to hit within the hour. We were packed up, hitched up and out of there in record time and the storm chased us nearly all the way home.
