If I'm honest, I'm missing this place less and less every day......

Maybe because they are not getting their own way. ;-)

It's just a network for people to chat and ask questions. I've only been here a week or so. Does it get unpleasant after a while?
Can't sleep ! I am in my caravan here in Cornwall, and there is an almighty storm going on. Its like trying to sleep in a tumble drier ! Even a light shower of rain, falling on the caravan roof sounds like there are elephants up there, enjoying a Disco.

And it was so nice yesterday ( Wed ) ....blue skies, quite warm and no wind....I had shorts on until 18:00 !
Depending on which threads you visit and whom posts it can be unpleasant from the start.

But on the whole I have found Ab a pleasant place to while away some time.
What's the forecast for later on today Mikey, hopefully sunshine again.
1ozzy...actually, I have just looked and its smashing for Thursday ! Big orange sun over Penzance all day, according to the Beeb.

God I love Cornwall !

The storm has now stopped and its very quite. The elephants have gone to sleep, and now I think I should try as well.

Nighty-night !
Evening 1 ozzy, met you on cupid's thread;-). Mikey,I spent over a year in a mobile home through all weathers and feel your "non sleeping" at the tumble dryer time! I found myself clutching the sides of the bed in readiness of the worst:-( It never happened, but it was scary!
bunkmoreland....I know exactly what you mean !

I spent the whole of December last year in my 'van and we had a humdinger of a souwesterly one night, just before Xmas. It was only my vast bulk, spread out on the bed, clutching hold of my Willy, that lowered the centre of gravity enough to stop the 'van doing a Mary Poppins over the hedge !

( by the way, Willy is my Yorkshire Wolfhound ! )
( by the way, Willy is my Yorkshire Wolfhound ! )

Pleased you clarified that!
Have a great day and enjoy the weather Mikey.

Hi Bunkmoreland, hope you are well. I recall my family being woken up at about 2 am by a caravan park proprietor on the north coast of Queensland when I was about 14. It was stormy and we were informed a cyclone was due to hit within the hour. We were packed up, hitched up and out of there in record time and the storm chased us nearly all the way home.
lol mikey you had me wondering! You have to be there to know how scary it is though:-(
Only too happy to oblige Jackdaw !
