Evening all.

I managed to go to the hospital to meet my step dad and then went to my brother and SiL's to spend time with the kids. I plated my Christmas dinner up as I didn't feel up to eating.

What have you all been up to today/this evening?

So glad you managed to do what you wished Dizmo - I have had a quietish day, a few drinks, lots of TV and crosswords and a fab Ribeye Steak dinner.
Well done Dizmo. We had my Dad round so now that he's gone home we are slobbing out in front of the TV with chocolates and booze to hand.
Lunch at the local with friends. A few wee swillies. Sobbing in front of the TV in our new onesies with a G&T. Merry Christmas Diz.

I a few hours with a workmate who is on her own for the first time. It was a girlie afternoon of wine and-as she called it- crap food...but it was fun. It helped both of us get through the day

*** Xmas, it's my grandsons first birthday today! Celebrated with lot's of food and drink, waiting to watch Eastenders at nine. Then off to bed, ready to see my family tomorrow.
(that wasn't even a naughty word!)

Took Xmas dinner to mother's, home now, unwinding. Well done Dizmo but take it easy and great that you've rescued that lovely dog xx
Dished out the pressies ( Santa style ) opened my own pressies, then daughter, partner and granddaughter arrived and they opened their pressies
( well my three year old granddaughter opened everybodys pressies. Trad Christmas lunch followed by much slobbing out.
Usual Christmas day,guys at the pub ladies at home with a bottle or two of wine and after dinner an hour or so playing silly games until everybody gradually fell asleep.
you by yourself, pasta? if so, sorry to hear that...

well done, diz - trust you are nibbling this evening.

back here now, just had some cheese, pie etc , couple of glasses of a nice red wine and now into a lovely Tokaji....fire going.
Yes,DT....daughter is in Thailand. We celebrated two weeks ago with a giant sushi meal( who needs turkey?? ).
true as to the sushi - but no Japanese restaurants down here. Mind you the same is true for Chinese....

That's because you are in the Cornish outback...;-) You are stuck with the local wildlife...
