Following on from Vanessa Feltz discussion on the radio this morning, what are your recycled Christmas present stories?

I have a friend who gave me a lipstick case. for a present. Later that morning she told me she had bought it from a jumble sale and what a bargain it was at only 50p! LOL.

The only problem I have with recycling is remembering who gave me things in the first place. I seem to have accumulated a large number of beautiful scarves but can't remember who they came from, so am a bit reluctant to recycle lol.

Yes, not so easy with scarves but if its a gift pack that you dont want its worth putting a post it note on it to say who gave you it before you store it away.

I have a strong suspicion that the Christmas box my neighbour gave to us last year may of contained the chocolate orange that I gave back to her in January, oops!

My friend was an Avon rep and use to get free gift boxes when they reached certain targets. One day She proudly showed me her latest free gift, a couple of months Later I got it for Christmas!

My memory is better than hers! LOL!

Many years ago MIL gave me padded coat hangers, I was 21, really not impressed, she got them back for Mother's Day, with a very big smile on my face.
