They are all here Bingo Calls

kellys eye.......no 7, topof the shop no 80, bacon slicer 24..............one pat butcher no 8.......
These vary according to locality and time. I had a glance at the list in Gen2's link, but remember some of these quite differently. I haven't played bingo since the fifties and, back then, 76 was "Was she worth it?" That was because "7 and 6" - ie seven shillings and sixpence - was apparently the cost of a marriage licence then. The "trombones" reference did not appear until the film referring to that number of instruments was reeleased. Similarly, 44, was "Diana Dors"..."All the fours, Diana Dors." She was a stunning film actress, in the Marilyn Monroe mould. Her ample bosoms pointed outwards like a pair of fours, in other words. Happy days!
BINGO, BINGO, where are u u stupid dog, that's me after my dog Bingo has done a runner on a Saturday morning.
Must be regional.....I know Kelly's Eye as no 1 and Top of the Shop as 90 (cos it's the highest number). Quite a lot are personal to the caller.
kelly's eye .. number 1 - 2 little ducks.. 22 - heinz varieties.. 57 - key to the door.. 21 - legs eleven -11 (ppl would whistle when this was called) - tony's den.. number 10 - top of the shop.. blind 90 - unlucky for some.. 13
The list goes on.. I've not played for years so things may have changed now.
