Here we are again, another Saturday and we at Nungate Towers throw open the doors to all Mad Over Fifties.
For your delight and entertainment, tonight the Minstrels are back in the gallery playing madrigals and fugues, later they have promised us their own interpretation of the greatest hits of the Nolan Sisters - such fun! We also have the Freuchie Formation Dancers performing in the Ballroom. Tonight's tailcock will be the "Blizzard" reflecting the current weather conditions around the Towers. In addition to the customary, horses doovers and volly vonts, tonight the Hot Plate Special will be individual Chicken Pot Pies, for pudding Scoff has excelled himself and has travelled far and wide to bring us Baked Alaska (made with ingredients from that great state!)
In the rofl for tonight, I offer Last Year's Advent Calender (doors all opened)
bag of used batteries
1 ski
roller skates (one wheel missing)

A warm welcome is extended to all who dare enter here

Sleighs at midnight

Of course you may Mammar, Igor! A straw for our guest!

Such a refined, and delicate group of guests gracing the Towers this evening!
Oo sorry, Tony. By all means have one. I'm sorry I mistook you for Daisy. That bucket of Blizzard seems to have affected my eyesight. It's not only my fingers that are crossed.
Very kind of you Tony but in order to save on the washing up, I'll just stir it with me straw x
Aw shucks! Jusy because you want to see my claret and blue hockey socks!
We ABers we should always remember our first love,
At the time they were the only thing we could think of,
On our mind from the good morning peeps until the Mamya song at night,
The thing you would turn to when nothing went right,
our first love was mammar pickled onion crisps,
Which took all attention off sibton's cooked Irish "chips",
They were heaven in tony's mouth, from the beautiful flavour,
Every moment from every crisp he was made to savour,
The crumbs off his fingers would get licked away,
And he slurped the empty, as if a goat, packed without delay,
They had to come with him where ever he went,
Because he got a goatish erection from their delightful scent,
The gals knew that he wanted them and they also wanted he,
His favourite mammar snack he thought they would always be,
But his love for them would finally end,
They were no longer his lover but just a friend,
He found something that satisfied him even more,
So the pickled onion stayed in the kitchen drawer,
What stole his heart was a murraymints chocolate cake,
A high calorie feast that Nungate and others would learn to bake,
But his first love we know he will never forget,
And maybe choosing the Edinburgh cake, one day he’ll regret.
To he, they will always be a delicious mammar onion snack,
And they will still be in Lady J's drawers if he ever wants them back.
Mammar, don't mind if I do. Mmm.
On form tonight, DT

You're spoiling us tonight with these marvelous odes DT
Doh, Daisy knew.
takes some grape juice, excel!
Excellent, I liked that DT. even the goat part lol.
Oo I've never had anyone say such nice things about me onions before, DT.
Do you think I ought to market them, Levi Roots fashion, and make a million?
Would you write me a catchy advertising lyric, nice Mr DT, please (hic)
I seem to remember something about the back seat of a Humber Snipe.
oh gawd she remembers.
The onion, now that's something else.
Its innards don't exist.
Nothing but pure mammar onionhood
fills this devout onionist.
Oniony on the inside,
onionesque it appears.
It follows its own mammar dominion
without any AB tears.

mamar onions - no bunions......
Astonishing, DT, truly astonishing.
I shall put your wonderful slogan on my labels and approach the BMJ to see if they will do some scientific research on your claims
I'm hoping he will compose something about me in the future

That would be a nice idea Excel - something Star Trekkie perhaps? Did you like the latest Star Trek film, about how they all got together? I quite liked it, though I must say my favourite was the guy playing Bones - quite amusing!
It was great .. Well worth looking forward to.
And it is on channel 4 right now.
The past is another country Tony and I barely remember the language.Shall we repair to the gallery and enjoy a fugue. Bring your glass.
