The Club is now Open

Hello, good evening and welcome to all our members.

(Hasn't David Frost been putting himself about on TV lately ?)

Do draw up to the fire and get cosy for tonight's club.

After the great success of the talk 'Knitting patterns through the ages', the Committee tried to engage the same speaker to give the companion talk 'Crotchet patterns I have loved ' but sadly, she said that she was tied up. So, unless any members feel they can step into the breach, I am afraid we will have to forgo our talk tonight.

For the raffle so far I have

A bottle of Sanatogen
Six oranges
Two tubes of Polo mints
and three knitting needles sizes 10, 8 and 7.

Eccles will be in for the seeds to go on her cakes and for the heckles.
Thank you LIK. Mind that little head peeking out of the pocket!

that was the village ijiut who bought the tartan paint from the back of the village shop, £2 a litre.....
Indeed sir & for authenticity, no undercoat...
Question Author
I didn't think you could get tartan paint any more, DT...

I could do with some for the outside of the shed...fed up with green...
Tartan paint? Evening all, I trust everyone is well. Thee was a famr near me which had Tartan sheep (I kid you not) and there were once red sheep in a field off the M8! I've parked the llama in the stables Milady, I trust this is fine with you?
Just offer it your finger LIK and see what happens. If it doesn't remove it, it's probably a guineapig as they seemto know the difference between fingers and carrots. No rodent does!:-)

I can confirm the sightings of the tartan sheep.
I think they caused a few accidents...certainly made lordalex sit up.
Good evening, miss nungate - your usual bucket of tailcock...

Good grief, someone locked me in the scullery - that was a scary few minutes.
Indeed he is sir, however, I believe that at the moment he is teaching his cat the intricacies of Monopoly...
If you please, your Maj, my usual pail will be most acceptable.
