an apple is worth 7 oranges...
And then I get lost, sorry
Correct SandyRoe
So if you add an apple to each side of the second statement you get;
3p + 1a = 3a + 5o
Replace the 2 apples on the right with 3x7 oranges
3p + 1a = 21o + 5o = 26o
3 pears + 1 apple = 26 oranges
