With no limit on the amount you give them to spend, which UK destination would you chose for Jonny to pick?
And which overseas destination would you love to own a property?
Also let me know if you have any strange requests they have to include in a property.....

Like where we live in Manchester as we are lucky enough to have the greatest set of neighbours around us and that is worth a lot.

Would buy a property in the L'Oise area of France tomorrow if we won the lottery and it would have to have a large carp lake for himself and a large library for me. Bliss.

Ah nice - I do love France myself..... and as you are a bakers dozen, I am sure you would love the boulangeries and patisseries so you have something wonderful to eat whilst whiling you time in the library :)
Somewhere hot like Florida for me!
I've dreamed of living in Menorca for years and I'm determined to get there one day so have no interest in anything Johnny could show me. If I have to stay in UK then I'm happy where I am.
what prudie says ^, exactly the same.
Hubby was a lecturer in Patisserie but even he bows down to the superiority of the french produce. Even tiny shops in remote villages have the most amazing displays of craftsmanship that put our shops to shame. Greggs etc eat your heart out!

lol I quite agree - I think Jonny has the very short end of the straw....as the overseas properties usually far outweigh the UK ones.
Question Author
Bakers - i quite agree - French patisseries and boulangeries are just wonderful :)
Id love to have a place in a picturesque English village, with stone cottages, a pub and a bakery. Maybe Somerset or North Yorkshire.

Abroad it would be a City for me; Paris, Barcelona, or Italy. I'd like to soak up the culture and the romance, rather than the sun if Im allowed!

Maidup - you can have your house wherever you want it - culture, sun, nightlife, views..... anything you like :)
I live in my dream village in my tiny old cottage which is just lovely...wouldn't leave here but abroad would be Valdemossa in Mallorca.

Barb - whats good about there?... I have never been, so let me know why you love it and it could be a future holiday destination to check it out :)
In England a bungalow in a village in Dorset not far from the sea. And a villa in Majorca.
Awww thanks. Now I'm thinking about views....and wonder if I might need a third house. This one would be on the edge of Monument Valley in USA, and for company, I'd serve cool drinks and trinkets to the tourists.
Uk: Somewhere close to where we are now (Fylde Coast) but without any neighbours.
Abroad: Australia.

The only stipulations with both destinations would be: House in the centre of a large plot of land, not on or near a busy road and must have reliable public transport nearby.

Gran - always good to have sea views...
Maidup - dont fofget I said that there was no limit on this to spend (with loads left over for more shoes and handbags - to match the house of course!!)
A bungalow in Cornwall for me here and a house in the south of France.

Jan - I think that would be my ideal also :)
A wee house in Umbria with a few olive trees and a vegetable garden
(1) San Steffanos Bay in Corfu. (2) Fig Tree Bay in Cyprus.
