My scores tonight are 4/7, 4/5

This weather still causing havoc here with strong winds gusting everywhere I seem to go. We have been trying to help my son and his girlfriend keep on top of their gardening, but had to admit defeat after a couple of hours. 

As a reward though, my son, who has started dabbling in making his own ice cream (with help of a new Ninja appliance) treated us all to his homemade rum and raisin. He is definitely generous with the ingredients, so it certainly packed a punch and was absolutely delicious!

I hope you will also be enjoying lots of lovely treats this weekend as I believe it is your birthday tomorrow. Wishing you a lovely week of celebrations with the terrific trio :-)

Well done on sneaking ahead of me with your scores this week!

The wind has been driving me up the wall too.  The antenna for my shortwave transceiver is basically nothing more than a piece of wire that's pushed into the tall bushes at th front of my house.  Whenever we've had strong winds, I have to go outside, with a long extending pole, to try to get that wire back to where I want it to be.  (I get some very off looks from passers-by!).

Thanks for mentioning rum and raisin.  It's reminded me that I want to buy some R&R fudge to enjoy on my birthday tomorrow! (The cats will probably end up with more treats than I do tomorrow though.  That's the way that things work in this house!).
