brexit or being a member of the E.U.?
lets crop the top down employees of the nhs i worked for 42 years and the wasted cash is immeasurable
There is plenty of money in the NHS is is just wasted.
We lease space to the NHS, 3 of their rooms have been sat empty for 3 years while they decide who should have them.
We have on several occasions received payments of tens of thousands of pounds not meant for us, and not noticed until we brought it to their attention.
They overpay for contracts and supplies and that's before we start on the top heavy management.
I agree. Can we do the same though with MPs who are millionaires but claim expenses from parliament? Maybe make a threshold of say £800,000? If you have that much in the bank or in assets you are disqualified from claiming?
Same with the PM. He said yesterday he was grateful for the food banks in his constituency.
I wonder how those constituents that use them feel about their local MP(the PM) being a multimillionaire?
Peanuts though by comparison surely.
Wont most MPs be worth over £800k just with house prices and pension pots. What expenses should they pay- drinks bills and train fares maybe, but what about office staff/researchers- they cant be expected to pay that or theyd be on anegaticve salary.
And if the MP you talk of give out everypenny his wealth to his maybe 80000 constituents it wouldnt pay for many meals for each of them would it.
Maybe Richie Sunak should take his wealth and earnings abroad snackrite then we wouldnt get his taxes and expertise, same with all rich doctors and lawyers, finace experts, enterpreneurs.... but hey no problem with us all being a bit poorer if it makes you feel better not seeing there wealth
Should we be subsidising this menu and these prices whilst they vote against free school meals for children?

So a Europhile says Brexit is bad, Nooo!
The politics of envy raises its ugly head again I see.

Perhaps get of your backside, and AB, and go forge yourself a million.

A million is not much, I am worth more than that.
COB is of course a millionaire, as is Sir Kier.
You Rich b'stard YMB, lauding it over the paupers! Shame on you!
Are you stupid enough to believe that he keeps all his wealth in the UK?

No snackrite I cant see any justification for subsidized drinks/meals,,,, but were talking billions for the NHS not a few quid off lunch for a few hundred people from all partys. Is it just the greedy rich Cons that use it ... do SNP, Libs, Greens, Labour, Plaid, SF, UU urefuse to use it as there principles should mean they dont.
And school meals have not been refused for school children by MPs because they are still paid...i guess your talking about extra meals .

By the way Sir Kiers expenses are far higher than Sunaks. Although still not OTT IMHO.

I still think we should reduce the size of the HoC remove expenses apart from a mileage/accommodation for non London MP's and increase all their salaries instead.
Dont you just love the envy oozing from a certain persons who is back again TTT?
snackrite... your just green with envy and would be happier if everyone were equally poor. Your clutching at straws.
I miss fatticus, he could give you some coaching in being more logical
A million? Is that all?? I’ve got 2 million. Wonder what we’re doing on a UK based website on a Wednesday afternoon? I’d better get back to the bridge of the yacht, want to be having daqari’s in the Bahamas before nightfall. Thanks for the lend Michelle.
Yup, green with envy.

Tough mate, get out and do something about it like I did.
Your being daft now snackrite. I got friends who are techniclly millionaires with a house in London and a reasonable standard of living but never go on yachts or eat caviar... in fact they scrimp and save'd for years and still shop in yellow sticker aisles. In fact my friends pension pot from a company pension was valued at £1million,,, but the anuity he's offered wouldn't be enough to live on for his retirment so no way there living the life style your talking about for millionaires
Millionaires in yellow sticker aisles? Does everyone tell lies on this site or just a select few.
Christ I nearly holed Michelle’s pride and joy then replying to this.
I don’t want to damage it cos it’s been up for sale since September. Needs the money apparently, some sort of cash flow problem? I need to be careful, next time best get a Pro when sailing from the Med. Hope she’s enjoying her holiday just as much as me.
