As a teaser to your request re the 80 billion pound figure - the UK lost 40 billion pounds in tax revenue; which makes my figure of 80 billion pounds look low, unless the government is taking 50% of our GDP.

Not if they read it, they won't. The "news" is an article on Mr Springford's report (which puts losses at £40bn). It is exactly the same report which was cited to open this question two days ago.
If you read Mr Springford's report you will find it is highly speculative and is based on his "doppelganger" economy which he has constructed and to which he compares the real economy. His figures (which calculate a loss of 5.5% to the UK's GDP) is not supported by the ONS figures which I quoted earlier. It's certainly not fake news; but it is news of an opinion, not a fact. Furthermore, the ITV article states quite clearly that it is difficult, if not impossible to disentangle the effects of Brexit on the economy with other major influences, and Mr Springford's report does not seem to address this problem. It seems he assumes that any losses - real or imagined - are mainly caused by Brexit.
So, since we seem to have come full circle, we've seen one opinion of the UK's economy loss put at £40bn. Any news on where the £80bn figure came from?

It’s very difficult to comprehend the Brexiteers denial of the damage done to the UK economy – all the reputable organisations are quoting a loss of around 5.5% to the UK economy, but the Brexiteers don’t recognise those numbers.
Of course some have given up on the economy and the Brexit sunny uplands, claiming Brexit was never about the economy, it was about something else.
Quite how long NJ can keep up the pretence that Brexit has caused minimal damage to the UK economy remains to be seen.

I'm pretending nothing of the sort. I've not commented on whether the economic impact of Brexit is minimal or not. The main reason for that is that I don't particularly care one way or the other.
But every time you mention your "£80bn pa" figure I ask you to substantiate it and you never have. You won't even discuss the difference between your figure and Mr Springford's much lower estimate of £40bn pa. You seem to have adopted the strategy that if you repeat something enough times people will believe it.

This a think-tank devoted - according to its website - to making the European Union work better and strengthening its role in the world. It claims, among other things: "The CER is pro-European but not uncritical. We regard European integration as largely beneficial but recognise that in many respects the Union does not work well."
It's good that among its studies, it recognises that "...in many respects the Union does not work well." Lots of people could have told them that without them going to the trouble of investigating it. But quite how the economic effect of Brexit has on the UK economy has anything to do with that organisation - other to use it to claim that nations cannot thrive unless they are EU members - is a little unclear.
