It's a Lunnun thing innit & at 74 he'll probly die soon.

Not No1 on my list of concerns.
Bet his neighbours aren’t plebs.
Travelling folk defies orders to move when they park up where they like.
Webbo; yes, and they get moved on. If he's breached planning law then he should suffer the consequences, as travellers have to suffer theirs.
It's a shame the article doesn't include a better photo of the offending windows...I need something to get irate about.
I assume it's the top storey dormers...maybe it's supposed to be a mansard type roof. That would have suited the building style.
Pasta...; it's not about your taste, it's about complying with planning regulations. I'd have been interested to see the offending windows, but the photo isn't very informative.
Is webbo Richard Caring's love child ?.
The trouble with people who flout planning regulations is that they don't understand that there is a presumption in favour of being granted permission, as long as it doesn't cause significant harm to interests of acknowledged importance (which includes neighbouring amenity, the character and appearance of the neighbourhood, the protection of Listed Buildings, etc). Most people adjust their expectations and plans so as to respect the welfare of their neighbours and surroundings, but often wealthy people feel that they have no such duty.
What you need to do is get Normo Fosta and colleagues on the job, get any old tat passed, just throw loads of glass at the problem.
Ah...Norman Foster. "Skinhead" we called him at the AA in the sixties. He was a pioneer.
Was that before his breakdown?
I did enjoy the phrase "incongruous windows". Sounds like a Madchester band like The Inspiral Carpets or The Bridewell Taxis.
Douglas; I presume it was. I didn't know him after his AA stint. (AA equals Architectural Association, by the way)
Maybe these windows are easier to fall out of and plunge to one's expiration - and given the way his energy prices are going up?
Not a mobile mechanic then.
Douglas; No, and not the other thing!
Douglas; I do apologise for missing some of your witticisms at first reading. Time of night, and time of life, dear boy!
