Are we all that sad. Christmas over hyped and can put people in debt for a long time?
Question Author
I'm just waiting for spring or at least the end of February lol
I'm looking forward to seeing my family members that I don't see very often. They're staying on Christmas night and I have to share my room with my sister, so I'll be quite glad to see them go, too :)
Int it great?
And only 372 days to next Christmas.
people will only go into debt if they are silly enough to be suckered into doing so.

Check the comments at school gates in December and January ''we're getting our three a £500 tv each'' and so on.
''We got our 3 a tv and a play station/games console each, we're better than you cos we spent £1000 on each of our little darlings''

In years to come, the same parents will complain that they never see their children or wonder why they have become anti-social.

(am not normally bah, humbug, but strewth!! I know it's not all parents as described above)
I'm not sad I just hate the cold! I'm not in debt either, everything bought and paid for though hard work and saving.

Oh Damn not a leap year then?
Can't wait for the first snowdrops. Christmas is lovely for children , but means nothing to me.
I'd never go into debt for Christmas. I've been skint in the past, and my child had presents from a charity shop. Now, I'm a bit more flush but I still won't go overboard with presents.
It’s a quiet one for us and the hounds hopefully I will be back up and walking for our new tradition on Christmas Day
Cant wait til its all over tbh

Alba I hate the comment "it's only" we spend lots at Christmas but stay within our means. January can be a long month for some people
Hmm I'm in 2 minds, we are doing the full thing at home this year after spending the last 5 on a beach in 30 degrees of sun. I'm not sure yet which I'd rather be doing.

Prurience what side of the globe you on?
My favourite day is December 21st because daylight, especially in the evening, starts to get longer.
