I love hearing them! I sometimes join in bursting into song. Just like those old musicals. Lol. I love the carols best.
Jingle bells
Rudolph smells
Santa Claus is gay...
Nailit......usually I love the Christmas songs....not too early but I enjoy them......until this year....they seem to be noisy, tuneless and ear annoying so far...x
God. I hate radios on first thing in the morning. Even my wife turned off Magic this morning with non stop Christmas crooning. Not even December yet.
Good King Stephen last looked out
On the feast of Wenceslas
When a snowball hit him in the eye
Nearly knocked him senseless

PS Must have heard the Pogues about 10 times already on local radio.
What I've never been able to work out is why, when you go into a discount store (such as B&M) they've got dozens and dozens of Christmas CDs on their shelves (many of which have got quite good renditions of Christmas songs on them) but the versions of Christmas songs that they play on their own PA systems are invariably rubbish!
12 Cans of Tennants
11 dna tests
10 dads to choose from
9 teeth between them
8 squeezed in tracksuits
7 stinking smackrats
6 dunlop trainers.
5 stolen rings
4 fat slags
3 ugly ttwats
2 timing hens
& a bell end who parades them on TV.
As for hearing Christmas songs everywhere...I LOVE IT!!!
We, three Kings, of Black Market Square
Flogging nylons two quid a pair
Boots and laces
Old men's braces
and women's used underwear
I know all about licensing, B00, but I refuse to believe that there aren't some decent recordings of Christmas songs and carols available for stores to use.

(BTW: Your link is a US one. The rules are somewhat different in the UK)
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtail ring'
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight!

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.

A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon, Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side,
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh

A day or two ago,
The story I must tell
I went out on the snow,
And on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by
In a one-horse open sleigh,
He laughed as there I sprawling lie,
But quickly drove away.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.

Now the ground is white
Go it while you're young,
Take the girls tonight
and sing this sleighing song;
Just get a bobtailed bay
Two forty as his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! You'll take the lead.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way;
Oh! what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
^^^^^^
I hate that!....
LOL.
At our line dancing sessions, the two weeks before Christmas we dance to Christmas songs rather than those we are used to. My personal hatred is dancing to 'Last Christmas' by George Michael. It goes on and on and on....

Oh, we also do a dance to 'Mistletoe and Wine'...gets on my nerves, it does. :-)
Do they think it's Christmas?
Tills Haha...…. sounded like "I know a song that'll get on ya nerves".
'Mistletoe and Wine'

That get's on everybody's nerves. Tilly.
