He may express that intent but that would depend on the rest of his party. It is not unknown for party leaders to be put in a position where their desire to remain became untenable.
And now the other news you really wanted to hear- according to the latest polls and the bookies it won't be an issue
I think he can't say anything else at the moment but if he did lose the vote he would probably find he has little say in the matter
Erm... Something a bit odd here. No-one in Church this morning had a hat on.... Some people have an odd idea of modern Christianity!
Actually, we had a rock band in the village hall last Sunday to celebrate Q.E's. Birthday (barbeque as well) and were all dancing to the Kaiser Chiefs 'Riot'.
Do wish folk would keep up[ to date!
^^
This seems to have got onto the wrong thread, sorry. There was a picky of all these solemn hats....
We knew that all along, he has said he would stay until the next general election and then retire no matter what the result.
Well he would say that.

If Cameron losers on Thursday then he will face a challenge to his leadership at the party conference. That will fatally wound him, and the Tories will ditch him.
Unless his party wants a change of leader there's no reason he should go.
No reason whatsoever. Especially with a Labour Party headed by Comrade Corbyn.
My best guess here is that Dave will be gong asap, whatever the result is on Thursday.
has he not already voiced his intent not to stand as leader next election ??? out just may hasten this leap..
Yes he has Minty, but he has this years Tory Party Conference to get through, and its my opinion that he is going to find that very tough. The Tory Party that won the election last year is not the same as the one we have now.
^Why isn't it? I imagine few of the 'inners' and 'outers' have changed their minds since last year.

Former Tory Party Chair changes sides ::::

"Baroness Warsi told the Times the "hate and xenophobia" of the Leave campaign was "a step too far".

She said she realised she could no longer support Leave when she saw UKIP's "breaking point" anti-EU poster."
Haaa! She doesn’t like a poster. Well there’s a sensible reason for switching sides!
You sometimes find folk who, when faced with reality, crack, go into denial, find any excuse to turn away and adopt a fantasy vision of what they want reality to be instead so that they can cope.
OG, are you suggesting that the Baroness is cracked?
OG....I think you ave just described Farage to a T !
Yes, there seems to be quite a few like that on both sides of this debate
//OG....I think you ave just described Farage to a T ! //

How so? I haven't noticed him turning away or changing his mind. Have you?
