Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. At last the rain has stopped, for a while anyway. Herself had to make do with two quick trots round the block. She had some more exercise chasing a chew stick I threw for her round the house. A bit nippy this morning.
Tiggy once again just came out to feed and went back to Tiggy Towers in very short order. He must be thinking about getting ready to hibernate with this weather.
I went to Wotton-under-Edge yesterday, across the top, driving through cloud. visibility in places was down to a few yards, some idiots were driving with sidelights no lights at all on. No wonder 'accidents' happen.
It's not going to be any better today or tomorrow according to the weather girl. Oh great joy.
Have a happy day everyone.

I was supposed to be going to meet a friend in Shoreham this morning but due to the air crash , the roads are blocked and traffic is all chaotic. So, we've postponed it until next week. We thought about about walking and meeting half way but with rain forecast, that idea was soon forgotten.
Good plan Jan. A large area is going to be chaotic for quite some time.
The idiots that say the pilot of that Hunter was trying to eject, know nothing about the subject. Yes, he opened the canopy, because if he didn't, he would be unable to open it after the crash. He was trying to get his plane across the road to fields. Something was wrong in the plane, the pilot deserves a medal.

I agree boaty. Everyone's giving their tuppence worth but they know NOTHING about what happened. I hope the pilot survives. Yes, it seems he was TRYING to land it away from people and into the trees/fields. As you say, the death toll could have been much higher. Terrible tragedy. I heard the boom and , stupidly, thought it was thunder. !
