We have the tedious and very dated Pride this weekend. Why? This is Brighton,every weekend is Pride so this is nothing special. A few Hettys and Grockles maybe think it is but the Real Deal tend to avoid it. Many of my friends are gay and wouldn't dream of going along to it.

I'm fine thanks Jan albeit tired as I couldn't get to sleep at all. So a good possibility of a kip this afternoon.

tomorrow not a lot, Sunday on the canal at the visitor Centre.

Got a friend coming over from Hampshire for the weekend. The weather is to be good so we can maybe sit in the garden and watch the weeds get higher or maybe take a yomp over the beautiful Downs.

I've got a load of washing on, it should be finished shortly. It will be nice to get it on the line.

Morning all xx not for me as I have not been to bed. Had to get dad into hossie, he took a high temp and was confused and delirious...have just got back to mum's 5mins ago. Dad kept in for obs, suspect chest infection...back in at 3pm. Mum gone to bed , I'll just doze in chair...

Meeting a friend for coffee and panini this morning at 8.30. We've got loads of little cafes all around, most of which are Krap, but we have one or two little gems among the dross. My sanctum sanctorum is a lovely Italian one, it's a small individually owned café. Not the Starplace or Costa lot or Nero type places. Hate the big faceless chain places. My local places which are excellent, are Italian, Greek and Iranian. All three are excellent.
