Do people really produce birth day cakes like this. Surely Yahoo are making it all up.

WARNING: this is pretty gruesome.

Who would even conceive of such an abortion of cakes...Yuck!
Don't like them at all. ghastly.
I noticed that quite a few of those pics came from cakewrecks.com, so I couldn't resist a look to see what else is there.

I love these medical ones!

Even the concept is awful - cutting into an effigy of a tiny baby.
Omg how gross do they look, can't believe people buy them

Awww, Chris, they're even worse - I feel quite sick. But strangely amusing too.
Absolutely disgusting. I love cake but I couldn't eat any of that if I was starving. The link that Chris put on is even worse, I think.The one of the Bristol Stool chart yuk, yuk,yuk.x
some of those are rather witty. Some are, well, not.
Mmmmm cake!

And yes, i'd eat 'em.
a lot of raspberry jam/icing in those cakes. I like the link from chris.
Those cakes are nature's way of showing us that childbirth is just not natural.
I think child birth is actually natural. ?
Maybe some one should show them to the lady who made this complaint http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/13343173.Mum_s_outrage_over_teddy_bear_with_naughty_bits_on_girl_s_christening_cake/

Puts her 'complaint' into perspective.
It's merely a variation on an old theme:

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man.
Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
Pat it and shape it and mark it with "B",
And bake it in the oven for baby and me.[1]

Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man.
Bake me a cake as fast as you can;
Roll it up, roll it up;
And throw it in a pan!
Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man
Ohhh kaaay ... it's just that ...

Pushing something that big out through ... you know ...

One couldn't really call it "natural".
I just had a look, they frightened me !.
Those cakes even look painful.
I bet they're all sponge cakes, considering they're made by fruitcakes it's ironic don't you think?
At nine months old I would imagine them to be quite stale.
