Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

i can`t seem to get the hang of this. Can anyone help please?

So far I`ve got co-star and Haggis for the top line across and Capri, Sudden death, Afghan hound, Red meat and tar for some of the down ones.
I`ve never attempted one of these before!!

Are you shading the squares symmetrically as you find their positions?

The answers you've shown are all correct - tips that might help are that both 12 & 14a are 15 letters long & the 3rd line down has 3 separate answers.

Get as many of the black square in as you can first by using the ones already given. You can usually block quite a few in. You already have a few answers so you can work out a few more blanks from there. There are usually a few anagrams. If I give you 2d it might help you along - sudden death (prompt with anagram of hated, death.
