Is there an easy way to do this? My daughter is inbetween sizes of her school skirt and the bigger size falls off her.

Thanks for any ideas.

A couple of small darts at each side should work. Takes 10 mins to do
Morning rocky
Unpick the bottom of the waistband just above both side seams for about 4" either side.
Make a dart in each side seam
Cut the waistband at either side above the side seam
Sew the waistband back up (vertically and horizontally) to match the side seam
Easy peasy!

It's a box pleat skirt so not sure how I'd put darts in.

Lol Mrs O, you make that sound so easy, I wish I lived near you :)
You could post it to me and I could do it for you?
Probably the easiest thing to do would be stitch some elastic (stretched) onto the inside of the waistband.

Thank you Mrs :) I might have to resort to that, there's 2 though.

That sounds easier Ferlew, why they don't do adjustable waistbands for older kids clothes I don't know. The length is ridiculous as well, I'm 5.9" and it's the right length for me!
I have messaged you x
